The City of Angels experienced citywide celebrations after the Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Fans worldwide united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Local celebrations included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Social media videos show countless of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
